Brunettia acutala Quate, 1999 View in CoL
Brunettia acutala Quate, 1999: 436 View in CoL , figs. 7D–H.
Comments. This species can be distinguished from the other species of Brunettia by the following characters: eyes separated by 1 facet diameter; wing apex pointed (unique among the known Neotropical species of Brunettia ); developed costal and anal wing areas; triangular parameres; basiphallus with wide triangular filaments ( Quate 1999). Specimens of this species were not studied, but the original description and the original figures of Quate (1996) are sufficient for their identification.
Distribution. Panama, Ilha de Barro Colorado.
