Comments. The males of this species can be recognized by the following characteristics: eyes contiguous; Sc and CuA unsclerotized; aedeagus ending after the posterior margin of the posthypandrial plate.
Material examined. Brazil, Bahia: Itabuna (holotype male, 2 paratype males and 1 male), Salvador (holotype male and 1 male).
Female. Description. Eyes separated; complete interocular suture; antenna with 15 antennomeres; scape cylindrical, 1.5X length of pedicel; pedicel spherical; flagellomeres eccentric; ascoids C shaped; radial fork situated proximal to medial fork; subgenital plate with 2 lobes ( Fig. 2 View FIGURES 2 – 8 ).
Distribution. Brazil: Bahia: Salvador, Itabuna.
