1956. Bolivinoides draco draco (MARSSON) .- SAID & KENAWY, p. 140, pl. 3, fig. 41.
1987. Bolivinoides draco draco (MARSSON) .- ANAN, p. 226, pl. 1, fig. 13.
Remarks: It seems to be an excellent index fossil for the Late Maastrichtian. It has a short stratigraphic range and wide distribution. It is distinguished by a surface ornamented by two distinct longitudinal costae separated by median sulcus.
Stratigraphic distribution: This species was first recorded in Egypt by SAID & KENAWY (1956) in the Late Maastrichtian. In the study area, it appears with the appearance of the Gansserina gansseri species in the Esh El Mallaha area. It is worth mentioning thatA NAN in 1986 stated that this species is not recorded in southern Egypt, e.g. Um Elghanayem section, Kharga Oasis (NAKKADY, 1959) and El Kharga-Sinn El Kaddab stretch, southern Egypt (LUGER, 1985), while it is recorded in northern Egypt as in Wadi Mellaha section, Eastern Desert (NAKKADY, 1950); in Maqfi section, Western Desert (LE ROY, 1953) and in northern Sinai (SAID & KENAWY, 1956).
