Protologue:—“ HAB. In valle Uspallata, Andibus Mendozae , alt. 6000 usque ad 12,000 ped. Gillies ”.

Notes:—Among the duplicates of original material found, we designate the one housed at K as the lectotype because it is the only one with fruiting umbels.
