Bicaubittacus burmanus is similar to Bi. mengyangicus sp. nov. in appearance, but can be recognized by the male epandrial appendage forked apically into a pair of slender prongs, similar in size in lateral view; distal prolongations of male gonocoxites without long, thick setae; cerci pointed apically; gonostylus short.
