Description

The identification was mainly based on Hacker (2016) and on photographs in De Prins and De Prins (2022).

Distribution

We report this species for the first time in South Africa. The known distribution of this species already included the Zambezian (Tanzania and Zimbabwe), Somalian (Kenya) and Southern African (Namibia) biogeographic regions ( Hacker 2016, De Prins and De Prins 2022). The extension of its known distribution to KNP is not surprising (Fig. 4 ).
