Diagnosis. Head, pronotum and mesonotum lemon yellow immaculate, forewings smoky brown, margin along claval commissure lemon yellow in some specimens, costal area broad hyaline, one large black spot in outer apical cell. Male pygofer without ventral process, anal collar process with anterior lobe short rounded apically, posterior lobe tapering distally and slightly curved dorsad reaching outer margin of pygofer. Female sternite VII 2× as wide as long medially, posterior margin convex with median concavity ( Fig. 60M View FIGURES 60 ).
Female genitalia. As described under generic didescription ( Figs 64I–L View FIGURES 64 ).
Material examined. HOLOTYPE ♂, INDIA: Karnataka: Jog Falls, 19.xi.1976, C.A.Viraktamath ( UASB). Paratype. 1♀, data as for holotype ( UASB).
Remarks. The black triangles shown in the original diagram ( Viraktamath,1979a: Fig. 20 View FIGURES 20 ) are erroneous as there are no black triangular spots on the mesonotum.
