Biology. Forests. Adults occur in IV–X. On Quercus spp., Quercus pedunculata , Q. sessiliflora , Q. ilex , Q. robur (Fagaceae) , Corylus avellana (Betulaceae) , occasionally on Prunus avium , P. cerasus (Rosaceae) , Evonymus europaeus (Celastraceae) etc. (Greese 1936; Ter-Minasian 1956; Dieckmann 1988)
