Type material. Holotype male, paratypes 3 females, CHINA: Anhui Province, Huangshan City, 30°00’N, 118°06’E, Mt Guniujiang , 12 July 1983, Y. J. Xu leg. ( MHBU). GoogleMaps

Diagnosis. The new species is similar to A. suiningensis in the shapes of palpal organ and female vulva, but males differ in the pointed and incrassate upper distal corner of conductor being not folded downwards ( Figs 119–121 View FIGURES 111–121 ); females have the receptacula situated at the anterior margin of the atrium, the receptacula stalks are short, lateral patches of pores extending to middle part ( Figs 114–116 View FIGURES 111–121 ). Males differ from those of A. sinensis by their conductor with a more pointed upper distal corner and a triangular lower corner ( Figs 119–121 View FIGURES 111–121 ).

Etymology. The specific name is a first name in honor of the collector Prof. Y. J. Xu.

Palpal femur with furrow. Legs I, II red brown, legs III, IV yellow brown. Femur I and II with granular texture. Metatarsus IV with four dorsal spines. Leg formula: 4123.

Male palp ( Figs 119–121 View FIGURES 111–121 ): tegular tubercle distinct, upper distal corner of male conductor pointed, incrassate, not folded downwards.

Female. Total length (including chelicerae) 17.64. Carapace 4.86 long, 4.32 wide; abdomen 8.64 long, 6.03 wide. Carapace yellow brown, similar to that of male. Eye tubercle black. Eye region occupying nearly onethird of width of pars cephalica. Eye diameters: AME 0.21, ALE 0.25, PME 0.23, PLE 0.18. Distances AME–AME 0.28, AME–ALE 0.13, PME–PME 0.78, PME–PLE 0.03. MOA 0.48 long, front width 0.70, back width 1.08. Fovea transverse, occupying about 1/6 of carapace width at that point. Chelicerae red brown, with 15 teeth on promargin. Anterior lobe of pedipalp coxa similar to that of male. Sternum red brown, with darker border, wider than long; sigilla like those of male.

Abdomen oval and dark gray, with pale longitudinal stripe behind orange dorsal tergite. ALS 0.63 long, PMS 0.90 long, PLS 2.87 long (basal joint 0.81, median 0.81, subapical 0.81, apical 0.44).
