We here designate the holotype of Asperula malevonensis Ehrend. & Schönb. -Tem. in the herbarium WU- Halácsy-Graec. (WU 0064300) as lectotype for Asperula boissieri var. transiens Halácsy , thus Asperula boissieri var. transiens becomes a homotypic synonym of Asperula malevonensis Ehrend. & Schönb. -Tem.
