Lectotype (Leonova in Novosti Sist. Vyssh. Rast. 7: 286. 1971): Herb. Linn. No. 988.11 ( LINN) .

Current name: Artemisia santonicum L. View in CoL View at ENA ( Asteraceae ).

Note: Leonova indicated unspecified material in LINN as type but as 988.11 is the only sheet there associated with this name, it is accepted as an effective type choice. Leonova (in Novosti Sist. Vyssh. Rast. 24: 198. 1987) subsequently explicitly indicated sheet 988.11 as lectotype, and attributed the choice as having been made in the 1971 publication.
