Material examined: 10 larvae deriving from 10 females.
Larvae very similar to those of A. affinis , virtually non-distinguishable.
Idiosoma 236–244 µm long.
Dorsum: Dp (DpL: 230–240 µm; DpW: 170–174 µm) shield-shaped, widest at mid-length, distinctly narrowing posteriorly. Anterior margin almost straight; posterior margin sharpened. Antero-lateral indents deep, obtuse-angled, extend to 1/4 of plate’s length and width. DpW/Mp1-Mp1 2.7. Mp1-Mp1 (62–66 µm) longer than Mp2-Mp2 (56–60 µm). Lp2, Mh1 pectinate. Venter: CpI:CpII:CpIII ratio 2.2:1:1.2. C1, C2, C4 bipectinate, C3 pectinate. C1-CpIm (18–21 µm) about 2/3 of C4-CpIIIm (33–36 µm). C1-C2 (45–48 µm) intermediate. Expp pentagonal, clearly wider than long. Exp in central location of plate, distinctly above E2. Palps: PIII 1 bipectinate. Chelicerae: First segment elongated cylinder-shaped, slightly tapered anteriorly, margins slightly bent. Legs: As long as body; LLI< LII < LIII ( Fig. 3 View FIGURE 3 ). Leg setation as in A. affinis . Hosts: Lestes sponsa (Hansem.) , Pyrrhosoma nymphula , Enallagma cyathigerum ( Davids 1997) .
