Apopyllus malleco Platnick & Shadab, 1984: 6 , figs 7–8. Female holotype from 10 km west of Collipulli, Malleco , Chile (38º21’33”S, 72º38’20”W), 4.I.1961, J. K. Greer coll., deposited in AMNH (examined).

Diagnosis. Females can be distinguished by the sinuous anterior ridge of the epigynum and the ACT with a single coil ( Figs 10 C, 11C, 12C, 13C).

Description. See Platnick & Shadab (1984).

Material examined. Only the holotype.

Distribution. Known only from the type locality, Malleco , Chile ( Fig. 14 B).
