One Ƌ syntype with labels: “Ƌ Tarma, Perou, M H. de Saussure ” [handwritten on ruled white card with “ Perou ” printed]; “ Aphonus Telskii Sss. ” [handwritten on green paper]; “ Syntypus ” [printed on red paper]. Specimen set with wings folded; the right antenna is missing. The left hind leg is detached and glued to the locality label. No syntypes could be located in the MNHN (Desutter, pers. comm.).
