Anisophya pulchella comb. nov. ( Giglio-Tos, 1894)

Isophya pulchella Giglio-Tos, 1894: 37 .

The male and female types of this species from Argentina or Paraguay in the Museo Regionale di Scienze Naturali di Torino, described along with A. borellii and A. hamata , have fairly short tegmina of less than half the length of the pronotum (photos by L. Picciau). The scarce Latin diagnosis does not show any contradiction with Karabag’s Anisophya diagnosis. The short comment in Italian points out the similarity to the genus Leptophyes (shape of tegmina and ovipositor).
