Distribution. Brazil: Amazonas, Espírito Santo.
Remarks. This new species differs from A. analis by having the mandible curved, with its two lower distal teeth wide; the clypeus protruding and angulate, with the clypeal carina higher than frons level; the antennal scrobe carinate; the ocelli large; the pronotal disc without a transverse pronotal carina; the paraspiracular carina present and inconspicuous; and the mesopleural fovea and suture closed, whereas A. analis has the mandible angled, and with two upper teeth wider than others; the clypeus not protruding and rounded, and with the clypeal carina lower than frons level; the antennal scrobe weakly carinate; the ocelli small; the transverse pronotal carina present; the paraspiracular carina present and conspicuous; and the mesopleural fovea and suture opened.
