Distribution. China (Fujian, Jiangxi, Guangdong, Guangxi, Hainan, Chongqing, Sichuan, Guizhou, Yunnan), India, Vietnam, Malaysia, Indonesia.

Notes. Based on comparison of the original description of A. basimacula Kuoh in Kuoh (1993), the male genitalia figures of A. vespertinula (Breddin) in Young (1986), and many specimens collected from Fujian, Jiangxi, Guangdong, Guangxi, Hainan, Chongqing, Sichuan, Guizhou, Yunnan of China, we consider A. basimacula Kuoh, 1993 to be a junior synonym of A. vespertinula (Breddin, 1903) .
