Features: Length: 90–110 μm, transapical length: 11–14 μm, striae 23–25 in 10 μm on the ventral side. Description: Valves linear with narrowly rounded, ventrally bent apices. Dorsal margin straight, weakly concave in the middle, ventral margin straight. Axial area narrow, strongly arched, central area indistinct on the ventral side, forming narrow fascia on the dorsal side. Raphe strongly arched.

Ecology and Distribution: Widely distributed marine species. Previously reported from the Gulf ( Hendey 1970;

Al-Yamani & Saburova (2011). Frequent in Basra corals.
