Distribution. Paraguay (Central).

New record. ARGENTINA: Chaco: Quintana, Department Sargento Cabral, 26°47′46′′S, 59°36′15′′W, 80 masl, 10.XII.2018, Riparian forest , Light trap, 1 male, N. G. Valle leg. (CARTROUNNE 9566) GoogleMaps .

Species diagnosis. Head, antennae, legs, and elytral apex black; prothorax and rest of the elytra reddish; prothorax rounded laterally, constricted posteriorly and anteriorly; elytra punctate throughout ( Martins & Napp 1992: 468, fig. 12).

Remark. First record of the genus in Argentina.
