Body length 3.7 mm, fore wing length 3.8 mm and antenna length 5.5 mm.
Antenna with 40 flagellomeres. Terminal flagellomere acuminate. Median flagellomeres slightly more than 2 x longer than wide. Occipital carina narrowly effaced medially, ventrally joining hypostomal carina. Mesopleuron largely aciculate, anterodorsally rugulose, precoxal sulcus weakly impressed, sculpture not differentiated, specular area large. Midlongitudinal propodeal carina present on anterior 0.7, weak and irregular posteriorly where it is difficult to see. Fore wing vein 2-CU1 2.7 x 1-CU1. Apex of fore wing subbasal cell evenly setose. Fore wing vein 3-SR 3.3 x vein r. Fore wing vein 2-SR+M 1.5 x vein r. Fore wing vein SR1 2.0 x vein 3-SR. Hind wing vein M+CU 0.8 x 1-M. Hind wing subbasal cell evenly setose. Hind wing vein m-cu absent. Apex of hind tibia without a comb of specialised adpressed setae. Claws without conspicuous pecten. Basal lobes of 1 st tergite weakly produced, rounded. Third tergite with midlongitudinal carina barely distinguishable on anterior 0.6.
Etymology. Latin reus meaning culprit as in someone who kills in reference to the biology.
