Holotype ♂, Thailand, to be translated, 1.i.2009, B. Butcher (voucher BCLDQ01201, Genbank HM435161 View Materials ) ( CUMZ).
Length of body 4.0 mm, of fore 3.5 wing mm and of antenna 4.5 mm.
Antenna with 37 flagellomeres. Terminal flagellomere acuminate. Median flagellomeres approximately 2.3 x longer than wide. Occipital carina broadly obliterated medially, ventrally complete and joining hypostomal carina. Mespleuron largely aciculate, rugulose anterodorsally, precoxal sulcus weakly impressed, hardy differentiated, speculum absent. Propodeum with complete midlongitudinal carina. Fore wing vein 2-CU1 1.2 x 1-CU1. Apex of fore wing subbasal cell evenly setose. Fore wing vein 3-SR 2.85 x vein r. Fore wing vein 2-SR+M 1.15 x vein r. Fore wing vein SR1 1.85 x vein 3-SR. Hind wing vein M+CU 1.6 x 1-M. Hind wing subbasal cell evenly setose. Hind wing vein m-cu absent. Apex of hind tibia without comb of modified adpressed setae. Claws without conspicuous pecten. Basal lobes of 1 st tergite small, pointed, more or less straight anteriorly and posteriorly. Midlongitudinal carina of 3 rd tergite complete.
Etymology. In reference to the grey-brown marks on the propodeum and basal tergites.
