COMMENTS: Dr. Ernst Mayr (1904–2005) collected in the Saruwaget Mountains from 8 December 1928 to 9 April 1929. The operative base was Finschhafen, the coastal town of the HuonPeninsula, NENew Guinea. The village Ogeramnang is situated in the foothills of the Saruwaget Mountains at 1785m a.s.l. (see Mayr 1931: 640–646, Greenway 1935, Haffer 1997: 440–446, 809–811 and Steinheimer 2004: 94).
