Remarks. According to Ardoin (1976: 150) Y. Gillon collected the type series of six specimens of A. gilloni in the Ferlo area. But Ardoin mentioned only holotype and allotype to be deposited in the collection of the National Museum of Natural History in Paris. However, when visiting MNHN, I found two more specimens labeled as paratypes, evidently belonging to the type series. The deposition of the remaining two type specimens is unknown to me. Ardoin also mentioned further specimens from Niger and Senegal (collected by J. Barbier). The Senegal specimens are deposited in MNHN (see above) contrary to specimens from Niger, deposition of which is also unknown to me. It is not evident, why Ardoin did not clearly state all specimens mentioned in his paper as types (or paratypes). Therefore, I hesitate to refer to these specimens (mentioned in additional material) as types, although they are very likely paratypes.
