In API 20NE test, positive for glucose fermentation, urease, esculin hydrolysis, and potassium gluconate; but negative for reduction of nitrates (NO 3) to nitrite (NO 2 -), reduction of nitrates (NO 3) to nitrogen (N 2), indole production on tryptophan, arginine dihydrolase, and gelatin hydrolysis. Capric acid, malic acid, trisodium citrate, phenylacetic acid, D- glucose, and N -acetyl-D- glucosamine were utilized; whereas L- arabinose, D- mannose, D- mannitol, D- maltose, and adipic acid were not utilized.
