Lectotype male (designated in Gnaspini, 1994; 18 specimens, males and females, depository not given, in original description) in MACN [in Jeannel, 1936 and Gnaspini, 1994 (7 syntypes examined)].

Type locality: La Granja, Alta Gracia (in nest of Camponotus (Myrmotrix) rufipes (Fabricius) ants), Córdoba Province, Argentina.

Distribution: Argentina: Córdoba Province: known only from type locality.
