Distribution. This species ranges from Cape Breton Island (Lindroth 1954c: 309) to Vancouver Island (Lindroth 1968: 922), south to the Sierra Nevada in California (Dajoz 2007: 16), at least San Luis Potosiin Mexico (CNC), and central Florida (Peck and Thomas 1998: 22). The record from Guatemala (Bates 1882a: 71) needs confirmation.
