Muilwijk leg. (233, cWR, further specimens in cMUILW, not investigated). A species not well known and rare in collections. Its distribution is given with Iraq, Jordan, Saudi Arabia, and Syria(CATPAL 1: BOUSQUET 2003: 481). The specimens fit well the description with exception of the colour Reiche indicated with "noir bronzé brillant", whereas above mentioned specimens are black with a weak violet-bluish tinge, so the correctness of the determination should be checked by investigation of types. For Palestineit was mentioned in BODENHEIMER 1932: 53from " Jordan, near Allenby Bridge". As I know of no other published detailed records for Israel, above mentioned ones may serve as additional information. First records for Iranand Turkey.
