Type species:  Amara nigromontanaLafer, 1989 (=  Amara lucensBaliani, 1943) by original designation. Synonymy established by Hieke (1997: 229). Etymology. Probably from the generic names  Bradytus[ q.v.] contracted and  Celia[ q.v.] [feminine].</spm:hasContent>
