        <spm:hasContent> Notes Our specimens somewhat resemble  Ahasverus rectus(LeConte, 1854), but differ in several characters from the holotype of that species. We have seen conspecific specimens to ours labelled as " Ahasverus n.sp." in collections and think it is likely that it is, indeed, an undescribed species.</spm:hasContent>
