It has been found naturally infected by  T. cruzi( Lent and Wygodzinsky 1979, Arrais-Silva et al. 2011, Andrade-Neto et al. 2012, Martins et al. 2022). Remarks. The life cycle of this species under laboratory conditions has been reported by Silva et al. (1997). Recently  T. guazuwas sinonomized with  T. williami( Oliveira Correia et al. 2022).</spm:hasContent>
