Synonymy established, under the name  Cicindela bucolicaCasey, by Casey (1924: 16), confirmed by Freitag (1965: 103).  Distribution. This species, also known as the "Twelve-spotted Tiger Beetle", is found from Northwest Territories and the eastern front of the Rocky Mountains in Alberta to Newfoundland (Lindroth 1955a: 16), south to Alabama, central Texas, and Colorado (Kippenhan 1990: 309) [see Freitag 1965: Fig.17].
