Distribution. Ukraine: the Crimea( Yunakov, 2003 a, b; Yunakov et al., 2018 a, b). Otiorhynchus atronitensis known from Krasnodar Kraiof Russiaand Ukraineonly ( Yunakov, 2003 a, b; Yunakov et al., 2018 a) and is the Orocrimean subendemic species.
Biology. Otiorhynchus atronitensis a nocturnal, meso-xerophylic, tamno-chortobiotic species inhabiting mountain and lowland mixed, and Mediterranean forests, shrublands, and mountain grasslands ( Yunakov, 2003 a, b; Yunakov et al., 2018 a). Polyphagous on arboreal and shrubby vegetation, mainly Cotinussp., Crataegussp., Juniperussp., Prunussp., Rosasp.( Yunakov, 2003 a, b).
