Pic, MNHN). Not examined.  Comments. I failed to locate type specimens in MNHN, including the Pic collection. I have examined one female determined as Phloeozetus plagiata("ex Musaeo Chaudoir // Museum Paris 1952, coll. R. Oberthuer// plagiata Reiche, Syrie, Kindermann") andreasonably matching the original description of Singilis hirtipennis; I tentatively determined it as Singilis loeffleri; if true, Singilis loefflerishould be considered a junior synonym of Singilis hirtipennis, but resolving this case would require examining the type of the latter.
