In  S. sylvaticus, pronotum is yellowish brown, scutellar shield is dark brown, and parameres are about 3/4 as long as penis guide ( Figs 8a–c, 8g).   Description.TL: 1.54–2.05 mm, TW: 1.21–1.54 mm, TH: 0.77–0.91 mm. Body oval, moderately convex, surfaces covered with short pubescence ( Figs 7a–c). Head yellow with interocular distance distinctly greater than eye width in frontal view. Pronotum yellow. Scutellar shield black. Elytra black with yellow apices. Ventral surfaces yellow to black. Legs yellow. Abdominal postcoxal lines incomplete, recurved toward the base of ventrite (Fig. 7d). Male genitalia: Penis long and slender, penis capsule with short outer arm and curved inner one, apex of penis pointed ( Figs 7e–f).
