A review of the genus Sasajiscymnus Vandenberg, 2004 from China (Coleoptera, Coccinellidae) TONG, JUNBO CHEN, XIAOSHENG ZHANG, XIAONING HUO, LIZHI WU, GANG PENG, ZHENGQIANG WANG, XINGMIN Zootaxa 2022 2022-11-14 5207 1 1 104 Tong & Wang Tong & Wang [151,621,1794,1821] Insecta Coccinellidae Sasajiscymnus Animalia Coleoptera 59 60 Arthropoda species robustus sp. nov.  ( Figs 42, 71) Chinese name: ffi瓣ḧ瓢•   Diagnosis.This species is similar to  S. bivalvis(Yu, 1997)in body colouration, but can be distinguished from the later by more robust penis guide, and parameres about 2/3 as long as penis guide ( Figs 42g–h) In  S. bivalvis, penis guide is more slender, parameres are about 1/2 as long as penis guide ( Figs 39g–h).   Description.TL: 1.64–2.56 mm, TW: 1.38–1.97 mm, TH: 0.98–1.47 mm. Body oval, moderately convex, surfaces covered with short pubescence ( Figs 42a–c). Head yellowish brown with interocular distance distinctly greater than eye width in frontal view. Pronotum yellowish brown. Scutellar shield black. Elytra black with yellowish brown apices. Ventral surfaces yellowish brown to black. Legs yellowish brown. Abdominal postcoxal lines incomplete, recurved toward the base of ventrite ( Fig. 42d). Male genitalia: Penis stout, penis capsule with stout outer arm and long inner one, apex of penis distinctly expanded with membranous appendage ( Figs 42e–f).
