Synonymy established by Lindroth (1969a: 1079).  Distribution. This species ranges from southern Quebec (Larochelle 1975: 78) to eastern South Dakota (Kirk and Balsbaugh 1975: 39), south to northeastern Texas (Lamar County, Brian Raber pers. comm. 2010), southern Louisiana (Chaudoir 1873c: 103), northern Alabama (Madison County, CMNH), and southeastern South Carolina (Ciegler 2000: 119).
