Prov. | 14 kmN Garsen", "  9.IV.2004| leg. Snížek" (cSF).   Diagnosis.Specimens from Kenyahas relatively short elytra, reduced elytral band, densely punctured and more transverser pronotum (1.5–1.54 times as wide as long, i.e. only 1.42 –1.47 in typeform), with sides less sinuated towards posterior angles ( Fig. 11). Internal sac with microtrichial patches composed of slightly larger spicules ( Fig. 24).   Remarks. Due to the fact that the occurrence of these diagnostical features is limited to one geographic area, I propose a new subspecies  S.
