Sharaf ( cAss).  Comment  Brachida africanawas originally described from Tanzaniaand subsequently reported also from Kenya( PACE 1994). The aedeagus of the above males is practically identical to the drawing of the aedagus of one of the typespecimens provided by PACE (1994). The observed slight differences are most likely explained by intraspecific variation.
