The parasite was found on the left side of the prothorax”; MZH.    Diagnostic features Cell V very narrow, shorter than cell IV, not connected with cell III. Outer appendage unbranched. Inner appendage slender and shorter than the outer, consisting of a small basal cell giving rise to 3–4 branchlets terminated with antheridia or to a single sterile branch in old thalli. Usually, the appendages appear bent in relation to the perithecial axis. Perithecium with dorsal margin straight in contrast to curved ventral margin. [Detailed description: Majewski 1994b]    Distribution and hosts Only known from Finland, Poland( Majewski 1994b), and Belgium( De Kesel et al.2020) on  Pterostichus( Argutor) diligensand  P.( A.) strenuus(Panzer)(Col. Carabidae). A photo of this species is given here for the first time. This species seems to be restricted to grow on the left prosternum of its hosts. In this regard as well as in the peculiar positioning of appendages, this species resembles  L. contortaThaxt. ( Santamaria 1998)and  L. chionophilaSantam.
