        <spm:hasContent>   Remarks The genus consists of five species, of which two in Europe, one in Denmark. The most recently described species is  Z. vermiformis( Das et al.2018).  Zodiomyceswas an isolated genus in the Zodiomycetoideae ( Tavares 1985)until Santamaria (2004)redefined its status when two new related genera were described.</spm:hasContent>
