Cell II almost entirely blackened except for a small area below cells III and VI; this blackening spreads towards the dorsal margin of cell III. Cells I and II separated by a constricted septum; forming a geniculate stalk. Cell VI strongly constricted at the middle ( Fig. 75F, arrow). Antheridium occupying the side of the appendage basal cell ( Fig. 75F, an). Primary appendage unbranched.
