        <spm:hasContent> This species was described from south-western Spainand central Portugal, where it flies early in the season in March and April ( Wood &amp; Ortiz-Sánchez 2022; Wood 2023). A single female specimen was collected from the Col du Zad in the Middle Atlas at an elevation of 2100 m(full collecting details below). The Moroccan specimen differed from the barcode sequence generated from the holotypemale of  A. lusitania(IBIHM998-21) by just 0.72%. The presence of  A. lusitaniain the Middle Atlas further reinforces the ecological link between Iberiaand the Middle Atlas as seen here for  Euandrenaand  Micrandrena, as well as other  Andrenalineages ( Wood 2023).</spm:hasContent>
