Notes.

Dioxys is a Holarctic genus distributed in most of Europe and North Africa to central Asia in the east and the southwestern USA and adjacent Mexico in the western hemisphere ( Hurd 1958; Michener 2007). Five species occur in North America, and approximately 13 occur in the Palaearctic region ( Warncke 1977; Ghisbain et al. 2023). Six species occur in Europe.
