This species has been reported from Brazil, Costa Rica and Sri Lanka ( Aptroot et al. 2009; Weerakoon & Aptroot 2014).
Specimens examined. BOLIVIA. Dept. La Paz: Prov. Franz Tamayo, near Yuyo, 15°03’30”S, 68°19’24”W, 1230 m, Preandean Amazon forest, corticolous, 23 November 2011, AF 23117 (KRAM, LPB).
