Tmethis cisti (Fabricius, 1787) ( Fig. 1A, B, C )

Type locality: Tunisia .

Material examined. W of Tindite , 33.68745°N, 3.68032°W (900 m), 1.VI.2013 (3♂♂, 3♀♀); N Tanacherfi , 34.40569°N, 2.65599°W (735 m), 2.VI.2013 (1♀); S Mesguitem, 34.46791°N, 3.68883°W (730 m), 3.VI.2013 (1♀); near Amassine, 30.84998°N, 7.55683°W (1850–2000 m), 26.V.2013 (2♀♀); W Taznakht, 30.45790°N, 7.53670°W (1815 m), 30.III.2019 (nymphs) .

Distribution. T. cisti is distributed in North Africa, from Morocco to Libya. While Massa (2013) synonymized all the subspecies with T. cisti, Defaut & François (2013) maintained them; we follow the first author.
