Type:—Nieuw Guinea ( INDONESIA. New Guinea, Irian Jaya), an der Noordrivier südlich des Geluksheuvel, Expedition of Lorentz in 1907., Djibdja 376 (BO–0069044! & oryginal J.J.Smith’s icon).

Note:—The type contains only pieces of a single plant (leaf and inflorescence).
