Type locality. N.E. Rhodesia, Kalungwisi distr., High Plateau [ Zambia]. Type material (holotype) in BMNH.
Distribution. Zimbabwe, Zambia, Uganda, Kenya, Angola, Malawi, S. Africa (Schoorl 1990; Yakovlev 2011). Reported for Mumbwa (Schoorl 1990).
