Material examined
Neuquén Province: 4 males, 1 female, Río Chimehuín, west of Junín de los Andes, 13 November 1999.
Chubut Province: 4 males, 4 females, Río Tecka, 30 km north of Tecka, 21 November 1999.
Tierra del Fuego Province: 4 males, 5 females, 5 nymphs, Río Olivia, east of Ushuaia, 29 November 1999; 1 female, Río Turbio at Tolhuin, 1 December 1999.
Remarks
The maximum measurements of the female of this study are 1387 in length and 1246 in width, of the male 632 in length and 518 in width. Australiobates cekalovici is a widespread species, reported previously from Río Negro Province in Argentina to southern Chile.
