Range: —Andes from Colombia to Bolivia (CO, LP).
Ecology: —Uncommon; terrestrial in humid forests; 800 – 2700 m. In a study in a montane forest in LP, found to be associated with high nutrient soil conditions ( Jones et al. 2011).
