SPECIMEN EXAMINED. — New Caledonia. North Province, Touho, Massif des Lèvres, Tipéléi upper valley, 20°50’11”S, 165°8’31”E, epiphyllous in lowland rain forest, 315 m, 12.X.2012, Thouvenot NC2161.
COMMENTS
This pantropical species was only reported twice from South Province by Tixier (1972) and Hürlimann (1999). It has been collected also in North Province, in the sedimentary Massif des Lèvres, where it grows as epiphyte mixed with the dominant Leptolejeunea amphiophtalma Zwickel.
